Takia has fifteen years of honorable military service as an Active Army National Guard and National Guard Soldier. Born and raised in Maryland. She has four sisters and one brother.

Her hobbies include swimming, networking, and traveling.

Takia has 3 children. She has co-authored 8 books, with 4 new releases scheduled for 2024!

She is also an Independent Mary Kay Consultant, a Public Notary, and a Life Insurance Agent!
